Most popular DX (Top 20 or more contacts, any mode each day)
There were/are quite a few USA 13 Colonies stations about. There was a UK one and a French one but I didn’t hear them. I worked one on Ten Metres, K2B.
4W6RU (Timor Leste) was prominent in the later part of the week.
Wednesday and Thursday were a bit sparse but things picked up later on in the week. However I do feel that conditions have generally deteriorated.

Sun: 6/7 sunspots now visible. Giant sunspot AR3354 is not directly facing Earth anymore, but it is still dangerous. The sunspot has a 'beta-gamma-delta' magnetic field that harbours energy for strong X-class solar flares. Even a sideways blast could affect our planet with radio blackouts and glancing-blow CMEs.
Footy: Still mostly transfer news with lots of money changing clubs for mostly unknown players. Nothing about Stoke City again.
Other News: After a magnificent display of batting by Ben Stokes, England lost the 2nd Ashes test to Australia by 43 runs. There were to be sure one or two controversial but correct decisions made. Cricket was definitely the winner! And the Headingly (Leeds, Yorkshire) Ashes test starts Thursday, 7th.
Southgate Amateur Radio Club the current owners of the kit for GB3LV and GB3NL have a web site at http://southgatearc.uk/ where you can find all the latest info about the club.
