It is with great sadness that I have to report that Vince Lewis G4DQP passed away on Friday 27th December 2024.
Vince first joined RAFARS in January 1976 and held many pivotal roles within the society, including serving on council as General Secretary, Membership Secretary and QRV Editor. Vince also managed the operation of the Airfields on the Air (AOTA) activations and was currently fulfilling a council appointed post as the RAFARS accounts examiner.
Many of you will have had personal contact with Vince over the years, and he will be greatly missed both as a member of RAFARS and a personal friend.
Our thoughts are with Vince's family at this difficult time.
