The aims of the Society are to promote and foster amateur radio activities within the Royal Air Force and through Amateur Radio, to maintain and foster the close bonds that exist between radio amateurs serving in the Royal Air Force and those who have retired from, or have close links with, the Royal Air Force

All Radio Amateurs (no requirement to be Ex-RAF) are invited to apply for Membership if you have an interest in the RAF, Military aviation and wish to support the aims of the society

RAFARS Member Area

The Member Area is exclusive to current RAFARS members who have registered to use this section of the website

Passwords are sent by email on request, via the registration form under the Member Area menu at the top of the page

Items in the Member Area include an electronic version of the RAFARS Journal 'QRV', a searchable member list with callsigns and details of the RAFARS Zoom Net.

QRV is now accepting contributions for the Spring 2025 edition! This is YOUR Journal, please get in touch if you have any ideas or memories that you feel others would like to read about. I will do my very best to put such memories, technical input, shack photo's etc into print and colour.
